Two scholarships for the Executive Development Programme are bestowed by ECA.

Clarion Gaming, AGEM, and the UNLV International Gaming Institute are the sponsors of the scholarship, which is currently in its fifth year.

All employees of ECA member companies are welcome. Lagus and Alberola are both employed by the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer in Monaco, with Lagus working for the Finnish lottery monopoly Veikkaus and Alberola for the same company.

The Executive Development Programme (EDP) is a leadership training that takes place at Lake Tahoe in the US, and the scholarship recipients will have the opportunity to attend. The entire program fee is covered by the scholarship.

The ECA scholarship program has become increasingly well-known among European casino executives in its fifth year, according to ECA chairman Per Jaldung. "The wider learnings offered by the Executive Development Programme to the daily roles of our hard-working employees" are a big reason why.

"The program to promote the individual growth of gaming professionals who have supported and enhanced diversity and inclusion within the industry has been awarded to two outstanding candidates from Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer and Veikkaus by the ECA. These individuals will participate in the program to help these professionals reach their full potential."

A collaboration between UNLV's International Gaming Institute and UNR's College of Business and Extended Studies led to the creation of the EDP.

The return of the Executive Development Programme to the magnificent surroundings of Lake Tahoe is a crucial occasion for the casino sector, according to Hermann Pamminger, general secretary of the ECA. "The land-based casino sector is, by definition, an in-person industry," explained Pamminger.

The ECA is pleased to announce that in 2022, two diversity scholarships worth €12,000 each will be given to two casino professionals. These individuals have shown remarkable commitment and career-oriented focus, and the EDP will provide them with invaluable knowledge and insights that they can apply in their daily work.
