Before their B2B flip in 2021, Spiffbet sees a 397.4% increase in revenue.

As compared to SEK18.2m in 2020, this represents an increase of 397.4 percent.

After acquiring Rhino Gaming in June 2021, Spiffbet said that it would put more focus on its gaming distribution network in 2022.

In response to "changes in regulations concerning European markets and conduct reviews of its brand portfolio," the operator Spiffbet said that it will modify its activities. "Within the context of Rhino Gaming, B2B services will receive more attention."

The overall revenue was SEK97.4m, including other operating income of SEK2.0m.

Nearly three times as much money was spent as in 2020, totalling SEK142.2m. The direct expenses amounted to SEK89.2m, an increase of SEK79.6m compared to the previous year. External expenses amounted to SEK23.2m, an increase of 44.1%. The staff cost was SEK12.6m, whereas depreciation was SEK16.9m. Additional costs amounted to 122,000 SEK.

Operating income for the full year was 44.7 million Swedish crowns, after expenses. Adding SEK14.5m to the loss of SEK30.6m in full year 2020, interest costs of SEK427,000 raised the before tax to SEK45.2m.

The annual loss increased by SEK14.5m from 2020 to SEK41.9m after a SEK3.3m tax provision.

Henrik Svensson, CEO of Spiffbet, stated, "The beginning of 2021 was focused on growing and building up critical mass in the casino business and in accordance with that we conducted some further acquisitions, wherein Manisol was the largest." Solves that problem. The first phase of our casino's construction was finished in mid-2021, and by then, we had shifted gears from game creation to running the actual casino.

We created Rhino Gaming once our attention turned to assisting with the organic growth of the company.

A 77% increase brought quarterly direct costs to SEK22.5m. External costs came to SEK6.5m, down by 15.4%. Staff costs came to SEK4.1m, while depreciation contributed SEK4.9m in expenditures. A total of SEK810,000 was spent on other operational costs. The operations of Rhino Gaming and STHLM, a games development portfolio firm of Spiffbet, were cited as the causes of this.

Additionally, Spiffbet announced that their fourth quarter revenue was more than SEK23.4m (£1.8m/€2.1m). This represented a 50% increase over the operator's Q4 2020 revenue of SEK16.6m.

Consolidations of acquisitions made by Spiffbet throughout the quarter led to this increase.

Operating loss for Spiffbet was SEK14.7m after expenses, which is SEK1.1m lower than the same period in 2020.

The pre-tax deficit increased to SEK14.7m due to other financial items totalling SEK144,000.

With a total of SEK933,000 in income after taxes and deferred taxes, the period's net loss was SEK13.8m, or 1.4m less than Q4 2020.

Despite the quarter starting with the closure of the Netherlands, which raised competitive pressure on existing markets, "the fourth quarter was slightly higher in terms of revenue than the third quarter," stated Svensson.

We launched more extensive marketing initiatives in the first half of Q4 amid intense customer competition, which had a detrimental impact on the quarter's results.
