Anderson is decided to resign from his position as chief financial officer of Mohegan
After her current contract as chief financial officer (CFO) at Mohegan expires on March 31, 2023, Anderson has no plans to continue her job with the company.
Mohegan has already started looking for a new chief financial officer to replace outgoing one. Additionally, the operator will be providing more specifics regarding the transition in the weeks to come.
In March of 2021, Anderson became Mohegan's chief financial officer. During her time at Scientific Games, she held the positions of associate general counsel, senior vice president of treasury and capital markets.
Anderson worked as an associate for a number of firms in her early career, including Latham & Watkins, Lehman Brothers, and Weil, Gotshal & Manges.
Anderson praised by Mohegan for his "instrumental"
"Although this is a challenging decision, I must prioritise my personal and family obligations once my employment contract ends," Anderson stated. The incredible chance to assist the Mohegan organisation is much appreciated. I am dedicated to making sure the move goes off without a hitch.
In his farewell remarks to Anderson, Mohegan Tribe chairman James Gessner Jr. praised her for her contributions to the tribe's success.
"Carol's dedication to the Mohegan organisation has been clear in the strategic choices she has made and the way she has led during her time here," Gessner remarked.
"We are incredibly grateful for her invaluable contributions to our company's growth and we truly wish her the best of luck in all her future endeavours."
